From the Principal’s Desk:
Time flies towards the end of the school year! We aim to keep on learning right up until the last day (really, God has made us to learn, and not just during the school day either!). We do change up the pace in June, with the district Track and Field event and with class field trips, for example. There are some impacts to all parents from those days, please see the separate announcements below. We look forward to finishing this year strong, having learned more of what it is to “Come follow Jesus” in all areas of our lives!
In Christian education, Keith Cameron, Principal and Chief Operating Officer
Praying for our parents: Please join us as we pray for Nathan & Valerie Bokma and Jake & Lisa Boldt.
Praying for our staff: Please pray for our Grade 1 teacher teacher Ms. Pieters.
REMINDERS:
G.I.F.T hours: How are your hours coming along? ICS is dependant on parent involvement; not only is it essential to operate the school, it also builds Christian community among students, parents, staff and supporters. You can count hours up until the end of June, but we need to have the sheets handed in by May 31st in order to get the tuition invoices out. Families not completing GIFTS hours should expect that they would share financially in the support of ICS by paying the set premium fee (currently $200).
Tuition Reduction Incentive Plan (T.R.I.P): Next order will be sent out on May 31st. The gifts cards we have instock will be available throughout the summer from Annette Dykxhoorn (519)860-6332, Janina Dykxhoorn (519)709-6620, Clovermead or Roszell’s, however we will not be placing our monthly orders. Please purchase any cards needed for the summer in June’s monthly order form. Clovermead Adventure Farm passes are available through Annette Dykxhoorn, Janina Dykxhoorn, or from Roszell’s. Save the tax and help the school, we get 100% profit from the sale of the passes.
Meat & Baked Goods: Due tomorrow May 25th with pickup on June 16th from 2:30-4pm.
We are still seeking 2+ new ICS families for 2017-2018!
