Mission:  The mission of Immanuel Christian School is to prepare students to meet the challenge of the world and culture they live in as young and growing Christians.  Thus, students are taught the skill of discernment in the light of God’s Word, the practice of stewardship for creation, the required commitment to a life of Christian service, and the beauty of witness through modeling God’s love in a broken world.

From the Principal’s Desk:
As a Christian school, we often talk of the separate, but supportive, roles of church, school and home. We do have distinct areas of influence, that is for sure. But, something happened the other week that caused me to think of our shared commonality in Christ, joining us together as the “small c” church.
Along with Grace Community Church, we conducted our “Care 2 Cycle” fundraiser this Fall. We had sponsors and participants from across the Immanuel community, including those from Grace and Aylmer CRC. Grace received awareness, publicity and money towards their (soon to arrive) Syrian refugee family sponsorship. I encountered Pastor Bosma on the way home the other day, and learned that Aylmer CRC has donated the use of the former parsonage to this same refugee family for a year. And, other churches in town may be interested in coming alongside. I was left with the conviction that God’s Spirit is working, broader than any one denomination. I was also left with the conviction that, as a school, we have been privileged to be part of this! It is in that sense that Immanuel Christian School is indeed part of the wider church, as we learn about God’s imprint in all of life.
