From the Principal’s Desk:
It’s the week before March Break, and school sure is busy! As a charity and an independent school, the business of school centres around teaching, but includes so much more… reports have been prepared, reviewed and printed for parents; tax receipts and child care receipts have been sent out in time for tax season; our finance committee plans for next year’s budget and this coming Spring Drive; our office staff and myself continue to handle enrollment enquires; our other Board committees plan their spring work sustaining this school in terms of fundraising, promotions, educational program, maintenance, Ladies’ Auxiliary hospitality, transport, and membership. In all that, there are a few messages I want to draw out:
  • Firstly, thank-you! We acknowledge your support in so many ways, and at this “tax time” of year, we acknowledge parents for your sacrifice in paying for Christian education, as well as donors for generous hearts without which we could not operate!
  • Secondly, let us be faithful in prayer as we look forward to next term and next year. We still have JK openings, and we need a few more new families to try out ICS for the first time. Also, keep your teachers in prayer as we also take a break, to come back refreshed and energized for teaching and learning. What exciting things will God be doing in our school in the last term of this year? May we be sensitive to His guidance in all that we do here!
In Christian education, Keith Cameron, Principal and Chief Operating Officer

Gr 5-8 Theatre - Louisa May Alcott’s literary classic comes to life in London Christian High's production of Little Women: The Broadway Musical. Set in the 1860s during the American Civil War, Little Women is a story of survival that encourages audiences with words and songs of hope. The story tells the tale of Jo March and her family as they face various trials and tribulations with great determination and perseverance, relying on the strength of their family bond to carry them forward. We are pleased to bring the gr 5-8 classes to LDCSS on Tue Mar 28. We depart ICS at 9:45 for a matinee beginning at 10:45. We'll take a 30 minute intermission for students to eat a brown bag lunch at noon and the show will end at 1:30. We plan on staying for 15 minutes after the show to meet the cast and crew. We will be back at ICS by 2:30 pm. Each class can take 1 or 2 chaperones - can you help us? Please let Ms Farrow Jones or Mr Bierman know!
