From the Principal’s Desk:
Enjoy the snow day cancellation today!
As we prepare to write report cards tomorrow, and as those reports go home next week, I wanted to remind us all of how those reports point towards our mission as Immanuel Christian School. The mission statement sits at the top of the Journal: “Immanuel Christian School assists parents in raising children to follow Christ with an excellent elementary program and a focus on Christian character growth.” We feel that we can encourage growth by involving students and parents in goal-setting. Seeking to foster growth and engagement, we will be encouraging every child from grades 1-8 to set goals, with your parental input, for Term 3. We will ask that all forms be returned by Wed Mar 23. For those wanting to do so with teacher input, we will have conferences right after March Break (sign up details are below). We believe that student and parental engagement in learning is of very high value for growth, and we seek your partnership in this.
in Christian education, Keith Cameron, Principal and Chief Operating Officer
