From the Principal’s Desk:
We have much to celebrate as a Christian school! May I take this opportunity to ask you to read the enclosed four-part invitation for our celebration events in May, give three invitations away, and come to the events that you can! No less important for our school is the annual golf tournamnt on the May long weekend - space is going fast!
We need to continually “Tell the Story” of what God has done in this place. Our theme verse from Joshua 4 continues to resonate with me as I consider both how God favoured Israel, and how soon Israel fell away! We need constant reminders of who we are before God. We need to understand that we are each an essential part of a community centred around Christian education. We need to also understand that we succeed in God’s strength, and not our own - may He shine in our classes, in our halls and in our local community! That is something to celebrate.
in Christian education, Keith Cameron, Principal and Chief Operating Officer

Dress Code Reminder: Spring weather is arriving and so is the summer clothing.   As you are shopping for or with your child, please keep our dress code in mind. Our dress code complements the LDCSS dress code. This would apply to all school events including: classes, sports, field trips, and graduation. Our clothing should be consistent with our goal to honour God with our bodies, as we are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Cor.6:19, 20). This still allows for creativity and individuality, but also requires modesty and an awareness of the impact our dress has on others in our community.
  • Shorts must be “thumb-length”, skirts must come down to at least their knee
  • Tank tops with straps less then 3 finger width, halter tops, muscle shirts, bare feet, bare midriffs, low necklines are not permitted
  • No undergarments should be visible.
Students dressed inappropriately will be asked to contact home to make arrangements to get suitable clothing.
