From the Principal’s Desk:
A huge thank-you to Malahide Fire Chief, Mr Jim Legg, and Ms Dianne Pond from Elgin Farm Safety Council, as well as all the presenters, for hosting the 18th annual Shirley Bechard Keep Kids Safe Day at ICS today! Check out all the safety information and stories your children will bring home today!

We approach the end of our school year with a report writing PA Day on Thursday, our Awards Assembly on Monday at 9 am (you are invited!), graduation practices, and then the whole-school Graduation on Wednesday June 22 at 7:30 pm at ACRC. Wow, time certainly flies! But, think of how your children have grown, in body, mind and soul, since September. Perhaps we have too? Let’s Tell the Story of God’s work in our children this past year!

in Christian education, Keith Cameron, Principal and Chief Operating Officer
Praying for our parents: Please join us as we pray for Brett & Tara Foster and Jim & Helen Friesen.
Praying for our staff: Please pray for our French teacher Mrs. Schuurman, who also celebrated her birthday this past Monday. Congratulations Emily!
Farewells to our staff: At Graduation, we will be bidding farewell to three staff this year. Mrs Tilda VanderHoek is transitioning after 29 years of teaching. We will be presenting a scrapbook with selected photos and best wishes - it will be available for signing during the Friday Family Fun Night and after Graduation. We will also bid farewell to Mr Case Vannoord, retiring after 8 years of driving bus, and Mrs Emily Schuurman, returning to the farm after 2 years of French instruction. We will have memory frames for both, available for signatures during the Friday Family Fun Night and after Graduation.

REMINDERS:
Meat & Baked Goods: Thank you very much to Katherine Irene, Lindsay and Leona for all your hard work this year on the Meat and Baked Goods Fundraiser!   Thank you also to those who ordered meats and baked goods for all your family gatherings this year. This school year $1,524.62 was raised from this fundraiser.  We would love to continue serving the school community in this area next year.  Anyone interested in helping us next year?  Meat orders get put out 4 times in the school year.  Think about it and let the office know if you are interested!  Any questions can be asked at kath23a@gmail.com. Have a great summer!

Tuition Reduction Incentive Plan (T.R.I.P): Pickup will be on Friday June 17.
Are you ready for summer?! Excited to take the kids to Clovermead Adventure Farm this year?! If you buy your adventure farm tickets through TRIP and 100% of your money goes back to the school and toward your tuition!!! If you buy your adventure farm tickets through TRIP you'll be saving the tax! No tax and 100% return!? That's a deal you can't beat! *TRIP is now accepting e-transfer as another form of payment. If you pay by e-transfer, please send it to trip@immanuelchristianschool.net. Please make a note on your order form or online, so we know to look for your payment.
