From the Principal’s Desk:
As we grow at Immanuel, I try to review what we do, and why. What fits best with our mission? What should we keep on doing? What should we change? Our district Track and Field is ongoing today at Strathroy. It’s a great competitive and social venue. Sending a significant number of students (over 40 this year), we have closed ICS and sent all our teachers to help run events, reception and encourage students. In the past, families have attended together, enjoying the social aspects of the day. Thank-you to the many who responded to my brief online survey regarding preferences. For next year, we are considering some other options.
Parents, grandparents, supporters, please consider joining us as we conclude our school year with the Family Fun night on Fri Jun 17, the awards chapel at 9am on Mon Jun 20, and the Graduation ceremony involving the entire school at 7:30 pm on Wed Jun 22! Let’s celebrate learning and Christian character at Immanuel!
in Christian education, Keith Cameron, Principal and Chief Operating Officer
Praying for our parents: Please join us as we pray for Frank & Rose Fehr and Neil & Laura Fehr.
Let us also remember in our prayers Mr. George & Susie Guenther as well as Jonah, Delayna and Rachel on the passing of Susie’s mother Margaret Driedger last week Thursday. May God surround them all with his love and provide and comfort and strength in this time of loss.
Let us also remember in our prayers Dylan Rempel (Gr. 3), who is currently suffering from a concussion and will be away from school until next week. May the Lord grant Dylan a swift recovery.
Praying for our staff: Please pray for our Administrative staff:  Mrs. Leinie Hartemink, Mrs. Tracey Morren, and Mrs. Marie Smit.

After lunch, we were surprised to see how well some of our adult volunteers could walk on stilts! Stopping in at Twins Ice Cream in Port Rowan was a refreshing highlight, where we enjoyed flavourful scoops before heading back to I.C.S.
