From the Principal’s Desk:
So, why would you want to come for a membership meeting? The ICS Fall membership meeting is a time for our membership to review and accept the financial statements for the past year… that’s important as our board operates based on the members’ trust, but won’t get you interested unless the news is poor (which it isn’t!). The membership meeting is also a time when we reflect on how we’re doing as a Christian school, which is why we exist! We have the results from that SQAP survey you were invited to complete, and we can compare those responses to the same questions asked in 2010. The results are very interesting… so, come on out and respond to those comments! At this moment in time, what strengths do we want to make sure we sustain? Where do we need to grow? As a community, we are called to be like those of the ancient tribe of Issachar, who “understood the times and knew what Israel should do” (1 Chr 12:32). We are privileged to be part of that process together! And lastly, we have food and fellowship… I hope to see you next Wednesday at 7 pm!
Yours in Christian education, Keith Cameron, Principal and Chief Operating Officer
